Note: As it usually happens with my comments on the blogs I read, they get lost into the limbo. This is a comment I made on The Spearhead‘s article Revisiting the Misandry Bubble.

In my Blog, I translated the Misandry Bubble (La Burbuja de la Misandria).
The Misandry Bubble is not only expanding itself in the US, but in all the world.
For example in my Country the recent ‘Marcha de las Putas’, women against all men «We have to teach men to not rape/harass/catcall/attack women»; the destitution of the General prosecutor Viviane Morales wasn’t only attribued to her marriage with a questionable man but to the ‘patriarcado’ and ‘machismo’; the attacks on Bolillo Gómez who they say punched an anonymous woman without questioning the conduct of the woman; the sole focus against the crimes against women and «their» children in this war; the false affirmation that women earn 75% of what a man earns; the false affirmation that all the power positions are occupied by men who don’t allow women to get there, while there are lots of unemployed men on the streets; the crecent desertion in the universities of men students; the subsidizes women receive (Madres Comunitarias, Mujeres Ahorradoras en Acción) only for being women or for having the kids (Madres Cabeza de familia) of ‘unresponsible men’ who impregnate them and leave them to the welfare state and the taxpayer (mostly men); the biased Family Court system and Family Law; the negative portrayal of men in the Telenovelas as being «oppresors», rapists, violent and evil men while portraying women as strong, independent professionals but always victims of an evil man…
The Bubble is expanding, and soon it will burst very violently, as the Futurist aka ‘The Fifth Horseman’ has already predicted. Soon we won’t celebrate el Día de la Mujer.
«The Misandry Bubble» Burst a Decade Ago» http://no-maam.blogspot.com/2012/04/misandry-bubble-burst-decade-ago.html
Ignoring the feminist link above, I agree the bubble is expanding very rapidly. The mexican (declining) media is indeed helping with the expansion, but I am already seeing signals of disconfort.
Mexici doesn’t have the misogeny levels as the US or the UK, but if they ever reach those levels, the bubble will pop much faster, due the mexican socio economic situation. i’ve heard that in Argentina and Brazil are having similar situations, but I cannot confirm anything
Uhmm… Yes, «Signals of Discomfort»: I’m not mexican, but the Drug Cartels are decapitating a lot of women as seen on Best Gore.com
«Signals of Discomfort» as seen in Brazil against Rousseff.
«Signals of Discomfort» as seen in Argentina with Kitchnerr and in Chile with the ex-president Bachellett.
«Signals of discomfort» as seen here in Colombia where abortion is not yet fully allowed.
I’m not Mexican, but I believe the Mexican-Socio Economic situation right now it’s not so fertile for feminism to proliferatre, because the violence makes men still necessary to protect the security and therefore feminist won’t start bashing them and asking for more quotas in the security mexican forces. It’s an especulation, but it seems that feminism proliferates in wealthy welfare states where the men are replaced by the state and feminist therefore see them as «unnecessary».
The Drug cartels are decapitating both women and men, in most of the cases it`s due settling scores.
Mexico is a very complex environment; Every state has different issues and you do not see the same amount of violence in Monterrey as in Guerrero or Mexico city, which is quite safe.
In Mexico city, with the middle to middle-upper classes you can in fact see the bubble expanding . That wasn`t so true 15 years ago.
Wow. Yes the expansion of the Bubble is definitely something on the Upper and Middle-Upper classes. The same thing happens here in Colombia in Academia where rich girls receive their education in Europe and USA and then bring back here the feminist indoctrination.
Also, the debates about abortion, domestic violence and the «wage-gap» are gaining a lot of force here from all political parties. We even have a «Ministerio de la Mujer» that is pushing in enforcing the «ley de cuotas» (affirmative action), upping the penaltys on men for domestic violence, giving subsidies to single mothers, etc
Culturally, there has been a lot of new telenovelas with the trope of the «strong independent woman» like La Teniente, Rosario Tijeras, EL Amo de Casa in the same way as there has been novelas about the «trafico de blancas and prostitution» (this topic it’s gaining a lot of force) like La Prepago, Sin Tetas no Hay Paraiso, and a lot more.
Have you read «La Burbuja de la Misandría» / The Misandry Bubble? What do you think it’s going on right now in your country respecting that? What do you think will happen?
Yea, I`ve read it, and it is something that definitly is happening in some social classes in Mexico.
As predicted by the fifth horseman, The Misandry Bubble is destined to burst, and while I am sure that the Misandry is taking over in some social classes in Mexico, I am sure that it will burst much faster and much more violently for the mere reason that no economy can handle an entire feminist society, much less a emerging one.
